Berkunjung ke Museum Polisi


In order to complete the third task, writer  used writer’s free time right after Friday prayer on May 20, 2011 to visit a museum which is located in South Jakarta, Police Museum is located not too far from writer's school. Police Museum is located on Jl. Trunojoyo No.3, Kebayoran Baru, Jakarta Selatan, 12110 ZIP code. To enter the Police Museum, we must not to pay / charge anything. It is free. But the bags carried by visitors thirsty deposited and incorporated into the locker that has been provided to the Police Museum visitors to keep the authenticity of the collections of the museum collections and prevent it changed hands to the people who are not responsible.
This museum contains the history of the police since its establishment in the colonial period to the present. In it contained the story of the journey from the time of independence of police, entered the Armed Forces of the Republic of Indonesia to separate from the Armed Forces and the Police to independently and professionally. Police museum itself consists of three floors and each floor contains a good range of kinds of equipment Police uniforms, vehicles, weapons and the others.
 On the first floor of the museum collections, there are various kinds of weapons and vehicles used by police to carry out the noble task of maintaining security. On the second floor there is a uniform police uniform, badge insignia, emblems of their respective police of each province in Indonesia and also the engine / car bomb squad. While on the third floor there are types of types of bombs used by terrorists to terrorize our beloved country and the replica state after the bombing.
After a look around to see the collection of the Police Museum, writer choose one of the museum collections located on the first floor. On this occasion, writer will discuss a few things about one of the collections of the Museum of Police, the motor patrol.

History
Harley Davidson WLA types begin production in small quantities in 1940 as a military expansion. But then began to show a significant amount of production when the United States began to participate in the second World War with the production of more than 90,000 during the war. This type of motor manufacturers also produce type WLA for Canadian soldiers who later was named the WLC. Also this motor also supplied also to the UK, South Africa and its allies, although in limited quantities.
Not as usual, all Harley Davidson WLA produced after Pearl Harbor marked "1942 production" and the motor is known as 42WLA.
